2) Tokyo Disneyland – Urayasu, Chiba, Japan
This 115 acre resort offers one of the most truly unique yet still truly Disney experiences in the world. As the first Disney park to be built outside the US in 1983 it has been attracting visitors from all over the world for decades.
Here guests can explore 7 different themed areas including Disney staples like Tomorrowland, Adventureland, Westernland and Fantasyland as well as others like Mickey’s Toon Town. The park sees over 14 million visitors pass through its gates each year making it the 3rd most visited park in the world.
With its grand open spaces that can easily accommodate its large crowds and everything Disney, including excellent rides, attractions and restaurants it is a must see destination for those visiting the Tokyo area. The park of course does everything in true Disney fashion but also offers a one of a kind Japanese flair to things here as well.
Visitors to the park can purchase tickets for several days of exploring and can often get packages that combine admittance to the Disneyland park and its neighboring park Disney Sea.
