13) Everland – Gyeonggi-Do, South Korea
The Everland Resort is the largest theme park in all of South Korea and celebrated more than 6.8 million visitors through its gates back in 2012. This place has a little bit of everything for visitors to enjoy including a zoo and a water park named Caribbean Bay. What makes this theme park stand out from the rest is its prized attraction, the T Express.
The T Express was the very first wooden roller coaster in South Korea and is still the largest one of its kind in the country.
Add to that the fact that the T Express is the world’s steepest roller coaster plus it is the 6th longest wooden roller coaster in the world, and you’ve got one heck of a ride to enjoy. Visitors can also branch off and explore the park’s 5 main zones including the Global Fair, Zoo-Topia, Magic Land, European Adventure and American Adventure.
The park offers something for everyone and promises to give visitors plenty of exciting thrills along the way. It is one destination you shouldn’t pass up if you have the chance while visiting South Korea.
