If you are lucky enough to get to go and explore this amazing Greek city, but your stay is limited to only a few days, you need to make the most of your short time in this stunning destination. So far we’ve been partying on day 1, adventuring the day after, now it is time for some quality unwinding.

Final Day – Taking it Easy

This day should be reserved for some loosening up and relaxation before you hit the road again, but relaxing and unwinding can also be super fun.

Greek capital has many stunning beaches only 40 minutes away from town center, so put on some sunscreen and your swimwear while you head for the magnificent sands of Azure Coast.

In the afternoon you may go shopping at the local shops. Glyfada is a stunning suburb of Athens and a great place to go and buy some unique items and souvenirs including local handicrafts and lace, and have an amazing shopping experience.

Here you will also find the Glyfada Golf Course, so if you have energy left and you are a keen golfer, this is a perfect place for some relaxing afternoon recreation.

Quiet Night Out

As you should probably avoid a late night partying since you have an early start the next day, pay a visit to a local restaurant and enjoy sampling some authentic Greek food. Dakos salad and Gemista (baked, stuffed vegetables) are a must, but make sure you start with a glass or two of ouzo, famous Greek aperitif.

So there you go, even with only three days in this dazzling Greek capital you can have just enough time to explore thousands of years worth of history, experience the culture, enjoy the cuisine, beaches and nightlife, and even find the time to do a little souvenir shopping along the way.

Little planning goes a long way.
