As fall slowly starts rolling in, people are checking out places to visit that don’t have your everyday sunny vacation vibe. If you’re the type of person who likes unusual places that send chills up your spine, you should probably put these couple of locations on your “to see” list.

Our planet is a truly magical place and it has numerous absolutely stunning places with different magical energies, however, it’s also home to some places that aren’t really for the weak hearted.

The Parisian Catacombs

Paris – the city of lights. Full of lively life, jolly tourists, exquisitely stylish people dinning and sipping on wine in the most stunning restaurants and cafés imaginable…

However, beneath the magically vibrant streets lies something much different than what you would expect from a chic city like Paris.

The Parisian catacombs are a giant cemetery and ossuary that have been home for approximately 6 million bodies.

Some of the interior walls are made from bones and skulls, which brings the experience of exploring the catacombs to a whole new eerie level.

Romania’s Bermuda Triangle Forest

Forests are usually places that people like to relax in and become one with the nature, far away from city lights and the stressful everyday modern style of living. But if you’re looking for a stress-free zone out location, we strongly advise you don’t go to Romania’s Hoia Baciu Forest. This forest is known as the Bermuda Triangle of Romania, as numerous people have gone missing in it, like they disappeared into thin air. Also, there have been unexplained electrical phenomena and people have even sighted UFOs in this area.

Turkmenistan’s Door To Hell

Burning for over 40 years, Turkmenistan’s Door To Hell is no picnic spot by any means. If the idea of hell on Earth scares you, don’t ever check this location out! The area was once a gas field, but Soviets set it on fire and it has been burning for over 4 decades and people are unsure whether it will ever stop burning.

Mexico’s Island Of Dolls

Located in Xochimilco, Mexico, this uninhabited island is the worst destination spot for people who don’t feel great about creepy baby dolls. One of the most essential children’s toys doesn’t bring joy and laughter on the Island Of Dolls as it’s connected to a tragic legend. According to the mentioned legend, a young girl died in the canals that surround the island. Soon after the tragic occurrence, dolls began to wash ashore constantly. The caretaker of the islands (and the only inhabitant) then began hanging up the dolls on the trees to keep the memory of the girl.
